How much does it shock you? What's the voltage?

It doesn't really "shock" you electrically, if that's your concern. It goes from level 1 to Level 4. Level 1 doesn't do much, it just makes you hand jump. Level 2 you start to feel a tickle. Three is like shocking gum/pen, it makes the bones in your hand viberate, and 4 Makes your hand feel weird. There's no pain to it, just humor. Hope that helped!

How long has your game machine lasted?

The first time we used the game, it melted the batteries, burnt my husband- started smoking......so it didn't ever work-

This might be a stupid question but does this device use real electricity?

Real electricity as in a current of static that is taken from batteries and pushed through copper till it hits your hands then yes real electricity.

how long does the shock last?

I haven't timed it, but it lasts for a few seconds. On the highest setting, I always drop the handle if I'm the one to get shocked.
